Holy sheepadoodle! Not your standard dog breeder—Native Doodles offers a holistic and family-driven approach to breeding all kinds of doodles (Sheepadoodles, Bernadoodles, Irish Wolfadoodles…). ND needed a brand that represented their ethical standards while still appealing to their young market. They are now the number one doodle seller in Oklahoma, with a puppy from every litter donated to become a therapy dog. Their final package included a nod to the founder’s heritage and Oklahoma roots, with a modern (and dog inspired) interpretation of the Osage shield.

National award-winning AdoptUgly focuses on getting dogs adopted who would otherwise be left in shelters due to age, appearance, or size. This event and campaign encouraged viewers to “adopt ugly” by relating the dog’s shortcomings to our ugly (yet humorous) choices of the past. The event was founded, designed, and planned by Julia and funded by the Sappi Ideas That Matter grant (an award given to only 9 designers across the country). The event was funded $25,000 by Sappi and took place at the OKC original Famers Market. In one day alone, over 200+ dogs were adopted, with some that had been in shelters for years. This Project also received a National Professional Silver Addy Award---one of the most prestigious awards in American graphic and marketing design.
